Fifth Avenue Snowflake for Humanity



The Fifth Avenue Snowflake has been shining brightly above 57th Street & Fifth Avenue since 1984. It serves as a glowing beacon of hope thanks to a generous gift from the Stonbely Family Foundation.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, the Fifth Avenue Snowflake
Foundation for Humanity, and the Fifth Avenue Association will kick off the 2025 holiday season with the annual illumination of the iconic Fifth Avenue Snowflake in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday, November 19. This year’s lighting spotlights St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s mission to advance cures and prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
Located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57 th Street, the dazzling 30-foot-tall snowflake, containing over 16,500 individual crystal prisms, will be illuminated by five-year-old St. Jude patient Imani from Long Island. with a holiday performance by the Marymount School of New York Concert Choir and Salvation Army Band, along with brief remarks by St. Jude, Fifth Avenue Snowflake Foundation and the Fifth Avenue Association.​
